The Benchmark 500 Series has set the standard for the high performance hot melt handgun systems used in production applications. With an exceptional cost/performance ratio, Benchmark 500 systems offer uncompromised durability, reliability and flexibility.
True Flexibility
Each system is capable of dispensing high performance hot melt adhesives from EVAs to polyamids to P.U.R.'s with adjustable pump rates up to 2 lb/min. Bead or spray, single or dual hoses and guns — the Benchmark 500 Series provides the ultimate in application flexibility.
And each Benchmark 500 system has the added feature of HMT's patented modular, interchangeable TFE coated melt tank. These TFE coated tanks are available with holding capacities of 17, 25, 35, and 50 lb. As your business grows, so can your hot melt system.

Pre-Assembled And Easy To Set-up
Each Benchmark® 500 system comes to you pre-assembled and ready to run. Load it with adhesive, plug it into the appropriate power source and in just 30 minutes you are ready to start gluing.
Built Tough For Years Of Dependability
All Benchmark® 500 series components are mounted to a 10 gauge, cold rolled steel platform. Melt tanks are heavy gauge, extruded, circular aluminum. Pumps are designed for intermittent or continuous operation and utilize hardened steel spur gears. And the high torque AC pump drive motors develop 1/6th hp at 85 rpm.
Easy To Operate With Tamper-Resistant Controls
Each Benchmark® 500 series temperature control package is incorporated in a separate control box mounted on the steel platform. This completely isolates the temperature controls from any heated component assuring long service life and performance reliability. Temperature and process controllers are located behind the secured front panel in order to keep meddling fingers out. The system monitors temperatures and helps assure safe operation.
